About Me

Fellow Niche Lovers!

I am Skyler Marid, and I love niche fiction, the kind I rarely find on the shelves.

So I started creating easy-going, cross-over niche fiction: sometimes stand-alone books, sometimes stories that unfold like a favorite TV series, one episode at a time. At Inkling Yokai Press I publish what I like best of this quirky collection.

Being before all a reader and not a writer, I heavily embrace tools that are colloquially known as AI to create my stories. I believe that with AI we can make voices heard and stories told that would never see the light of day without it, especially when you like reading niche or underrepresented genres and stories. Though I am aware of the conflicts regarding AI that sometimes seem to tear apart the reading and, especially, the writing community, I am conviced that it will have its place and, to close the circle, fill a niche.

I publish under genre-specific pen names to give each world its own voice.
